I was treated very well and advised I what where I needed to be from the Reception staff, pre op and X-ray clinic. All explained step by step each procedure of their dept. On the day of my op the nursing staff were very caring making sure I had everything I needed and put me at my ease. They were also helpful to my daughter who accompanied me and let her stay in my room while I was having my op and made sure she was aware of all that was going on. All the operating staff and the anesthetiser made sure I knew what was happening the effects of the epidural etc. the after care was reassuring as the nurses escorted me back to my room and again explained what would happen over the next few hours and made sure I was aware of everything. The attention I received over the next couple of days right up to the moment I was escorted to my lift home was caring reassuring and made me at ease the whole time I was in their care

I was under the care of Mr Ellis who was a really nice gentleman and explained every inch of my Operation and care. I attended the joint group pre my Total knee replacement. The nurse and physiotherapist explained in detail about my pre and post op care and what to expect. They were extremely friendly and took time to answer any questions. This put my mind at ease. Mr Ellis, my consultant, gave me the personal touch and rang/ visited me throughout my care. The anaesthetist and theatre staff were absolutely amazing and put me at ease. The nursing staff on Copperfield ward were fantastic. They kept me comfortable and showed high standards of care throughout my stay. Nurse Rochelle was exceptionally caring, knowledgeable, and friendly to me and my family. The hospitality ladies helped by providing me lovely meals and drinks. They were always helpful and friendly. The Physiotherapy team were excellent and knowledeable and visited me regularly while I was in the ward. The only improvement I could recommend is that the room could do with freshening up as the walls and woodwork looked a bit tired. The bath could be replaced by a wet room for easy accessibility. Overall, I would highly recommend this hospital for high standards of care from start to finish. Many thanks to all the staff.

All of the staff looked after me and made sure I was ok. I was met from reception and walked to room, keeping me calm. Lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble and made me feel at ease. Would recommend

I spent 2 night at the Spire Alexandra hospital for a hysterectomy procedure. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food of good quality. The nurses were fantastic, checking on me regularly and making sure I was comfortable. The after care service was also great, during my recovery at home I phoned the ward a couple of times with a couple of concerns and they were always quick to respond and very reassuring. Thank you Copperfield Ward.

From arrival at reception to my discharge everything and every body were great All the nurses, physio, admin staff and kitchen staff ( and Dr Ishraaq ) on Copperfield ward looked after me so well I felt like royalty. A big thank you to all of you Regards Andrew Hunt
